Welcome to my website where you will find healthy recipes, fitness, travel & lifestyle posts. My aim is to promote a life of positivity, happiness and balance – where exercise isn’t a chore, and where eating cake is entirely necessary for muscle building and sanity.
I am a 24 year old qualified personal trainer from Buckinghamshire, currently living in London. If you are interested in online coaching, workout programmes and/or nutritional advice then please feel free to email me: contact@lottierainbow.com.
I studied English with Creative Writing at the University of Birmingham, graduating in 2014, and went on to work in marketing for a year before I decided to enrol in a personal training course with The Training Room, giving me qualifications to achieve my goal; to help as many women as possible to love their bodies and to feel happy and confident.
Having worked as a Personal Trainer at Virgin Active, and running an Online Training business while also working for the activewear brand Sweaty Betty, I have vast knowledge and experience in the health & fitness industry and simply want to help and inspire others.
My reason for getting into fitness is simple. I had none. At school I never enjoyed P.E. – I found it quite intimidating and didn’t fit in with any sport. After having glandular fever when I was 14 which stole all of my energy, I decided that I wanted to be fitter, stronger, and healthier – and it has been a gradual thing since then, from starting yoga to home HIIT workouts and lifting weights in the gym.
As an avid foodie, I have maintained a naturally slim figure and built muscle over the years by eating a balanced diet and exercising effectively. I am only 5’2 – everyone’s body type is different so never compare what your body is doing to someone else’s.
Through my social media (Instagram) and YouTube channel I wish to share my journey with as many people as possible, from my workouts and what I eat, to travel and daily rants, to show that you CAN live a balanced lifestyle, that exercise can be your passion but not an obsession, and that you can enjoy everything from food to socialising without guilt or worry.
I would love to hear from you so please feel free to message me or drop me an email on contact@lottierainbow.com.
